UEFA Champions League single game: Atletico Madrid comeback and ultimate victory over Leipzig

Madrid will continue the first round of the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League season on September 19th.With       Griezmann's pass and shot, Spanish team Atletico Madrid won 2-1 at home against Leipzig from Germany.

 Atletico Madrid, who will face Leipzig at the Metropolitan Stadium in this round, suffered a blow just 4 minutes into the game.Oppenda's shot in the counterattack was saved by Oblak with great effort, but Sheshko's header from the front of the small penalty area broke the net and gave Leipzig the lead.

 In the 26th minute, Atletico Madrid missed another opportunity as Correa's small angle shot hit the goalpost and bounced out. But two minutes later, the 'Bed Sheet Legion' successfully equalized the score. Marcos Llorente passed from the right and Griezmann volleyed near the penalty spot to break the net.

 The draw lasted until the 90th minute, and Atletico Madrid finally rewrote the score again.Griezmann sent a cross from the left side of the penalty area, and Jose Jimenez scored with a header from close range, helping Atletico Madrid complete the comeback with a winning goal.
